My Big Pocket
This post is based on a true experience when I visited the UAE for the World Wood Trade Show. How I carried my traditional paper business cards.

On 28th April, 2023, I decided to go on a journey to the United Arab Emirates for the World Wood Trade Show. For my departure, I packed 100 traditional paper business cards and some of my formal attire in my BMW. I ignited the engine and raced to the UAE to reach there on time.
After I reached there, I stuffed 100 paper business cards into my left pocket. It looked like my left pocket had gotten pregnant in seconds. So, went to the trade show, meeting many suppliers and dealers from different countries. After introducing myself to 100 people, it looked like my right pocket got pregnant, but this time it was 1 hour instead of seconds. And my left pocket had her delivery, and I was relieved from carrying the burden.
One thing struck me, carrying business cards in pockets and wallets is a burden.
If my business card is stocked out, how do I keep my clients and suppliers informed about our meeting? It is highly unprofessional of me to say, "I'm all out on my business card, kindly write down my number." Surely, that piece of paper will end up in the trash or under someone's foot.
